BILL ARNOLD Billy Joe Arnold, son of Vernon Lee and Wanda Alice "Wanita" Arnold, was born, December 23, 1942 in Camdenton, Missouri. He departed this life, Saturday, December 14, 2013, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy years, eleven months and twenty-one days. On May 18, 1961, he was united in marriage to Linda Loretta Willis and to this union three children were born. Together they shared twenty-two years of marriage before her passing on January 24, 1984. He married Martha Marie Willis on March 11, 1995 and they have shared the past eighteen years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by his parents and three infant siblings. Survivors include wife, Marie Arnold of the home; six children, Teresa Heimbeaugh and husband Larry of Camdenton, Missouri, David Arnold and wife Angie of Macks Creek, Missouri, Brenda Banner and husband Tim of Macks Creek, Missouri, John Cyrus of Clever, Missouri, Gary Cyrus and wife Shari of Camdenton, Missouri and Lisa Jenkins of Camdenton, Missouri, twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Crystal Failor and husband Steve of Newton, Iowa and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Bill was raised in Camden County and was a graduate of Macks Creek High School in the class of 1961. After marring Linda, they made their home in Kansas City where he worked for General Motors. They returned to Camden County in 1967 and he started working or Herbert and Herdon Plumbing. He later went into business for himself and owned and operated Bill's Plumbing for many years. Bill made a profession of faith and was a member of Big Niangua Missionary Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors and would go fishing, deer hunting and camping whenever he could. He loved his family and spending time with them always brought him joy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We will miss him greatly, but will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Edith. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
