DAVID RAY David Eugene Ray, son of James Milton and Kathy Irene Gifford Ray, was born, February 20, 1976 in Ellsworth, Kansas. He departed this life, Friday, April 8, 2016, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of forty years, one month and nineteen days. Survivors include his parents, James and Kathy Ray of Deweyville, Texas; a daughter, Taylor Ray of Camdenton, Missouri; his siblings, Anne Sims and husband John of Deweyville, Texas, James Ray and wife Donna of Macks Creek, Missouri, Jeanne Ray and wife Kara of Orange, Texas and Jamie Stallwood of Yorbalinda, California; his fiancé, Terra Fiveash of Stoutland, Missouri; a step-son, Drew Fiveash; his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Gifford; his paternal grandmother, Patricia Porter; aunts, Mary Shadduck and Melinda Galliart; uncles, Kirk Mische, Brad Mische, Johnny Ray and David Ray; nephews, Jonathan Sims, Justin Ray and Kegan Ray, nieces, Lacy Barnes, Kali Moore, Kyla McDonald, D’Lisa Stamper, Katelyn Stallwood and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends. David was raised Deweyville, Texas and graduated from high school there. He lived in Lorraine, Kansas before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. He was a Lead Tile Installer for Jones Tile, Inc. He was currently a Boat Lift Installer for Polylift. In his spare time, he enjoyed ATV riding and racing. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Although he left us too early, we will never forget his contagious smile. We take comfort in knowing his memories will linger in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Ozark Bethel Chapel Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Big Niangua Cemetery, Roach. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m., Tuesday in the church. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
