Donalld Orville Bridges

Donald O. Bridges passed away on March 9th, 2017 at the age of 79. He resided at Osage Beach Health Care and Rehab Center. He was in the Navy for 20 years and served on the USS HANK. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 6514 in Osage Beach. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Jefferson City where he was an Elder. He worked at Camdenton Steel for 13 years before retiring. Don loved to bowl and fish with his nephew Todd Beckett. He was a big fan of the Royals and Chiefs and Nascar. He enjoyed the outdoors and camping with his family and grandkids. He is survived by his wife Liz Bridges, son JD Hunter and wife Melissa, Grandsons Michael Bank, Dakota Long, Tyler Hunter, Zach Hunter and Nicholas Winslow. Niece Donna Ralls and Logan and Lacie Ralls and many more nieces and nephews. His sister LaJuana Crocker and husband Roy and Brother-in-law James Conner. He is also survived by his longtime companions Ozark, Little Man, Bud and Champ. Many other family and friends. Don is proceeded in death by his parents Bus and Emma Bridges and a sister Karen Conner and late wife Faye Bridges. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 2pm-4pm at the Community of Christ Church; 1620 Vieth Dr. Jefferson City, Missouri 65109. In Lieu of Flowers make donation to the family to help cover expenses.
