He was father of Robert William Andrew Hill IV, Blake Hill and Katherine Hill. He would say they were the greatest achievement of his life. On September 18, 2000 in Shreveport, Louisiana, he was united in marriage to Patti Ann Paulovich. Together they shared twelve years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Patti Hill of Osage Beach, Missouri; his children, Robert Hill of Jefferson City, Missouri, Blake Hill of Texarkana, Texas and Katie Hill of Maud, Texas; his father, Bob Hill and wife Patsy of Linn Creek, Missouri; a sister, Jennifer Hill Akers and husband David of Shreveport, Louisiana; three nephews, Matthew, Samuel and Alex and a host of other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Ann Cain; maternal grandparents, Liela White and Julius Herman Cain and paternal grandparents, Lois and Bob Hill. Robert lived in Shreveport and Bossier, Louisiana and Terre Haute, Indiana before settling in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. Robert was a trained automobile mechanic, but also was trained at an early age in the family antique business in Louisiana. He loved everything to do with cars. He has a dream of restoring classic autos, but never found the time. He loved boating on the Lake of the Ozarks and Lake Bistineau as a young man. Whether a john boat or a twin engine cruiser, he just loved the water. Robert also became a certified scuba diver and enjoyed many dive trips with his wife, Patti. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. Although his life was too brief, he touched many lives and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
