MARY TROTH Mary Marie Troth, daughter of Hugh and Davida Smither Roberts, was born, February 24, 1928 in Dearborn, Missouri. She departed this life, Saturday, April 12, 2014, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of eighty-six years, one month and nineteen days. On October 24, 1970, she was united in marriage to Charles Roy Troth . Together they shared many years of marriage until his passing in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rick Jones; a brother, Donald Roberts and a grandson, Ricky Jones, Jr. Survivors include her sons, Jim Jones and wife Betty of Lee Summit, Missouri and Joe Kimbrough and wife Tammy of Sedalia, Missouri; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Norma K. Pepper and husband Jewel of St. Joseph, Missouri; a brother, Jerry Adams of Weston, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mary was raised in Weston, Missouri and later moved to the Kansas City area. She moved to Lees Summit where she worked for Lake City Ammunition Factory. She moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1979 and made her home there and did upholstery on boats. Mary was baptized in 1981and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Sunrise Beach where she served on numerous committees. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her yard. She truly loved Lake of the Ozarks and spent as much time as she could boating and riding wave runners. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 in First Baptist Church of Sunrise Beach. Burial will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday in the church. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Sunrise Beach and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
