Patricia Jo An Sorrell

Patricia Jo An Sorrell, daughter of the late Doyle & Mary Elaine Hart, passed away on June 28, 2023 in Camdenton, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her step-father, Sam Smith.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Paul Sorrell, five children, Mary Barclay & husband Gary, Debby Warren, Steve Warren, Malisa Johnson and Ryan Sorrell & wife Karrie; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will all truly miss her.

Patricia was raised in the Warsaw, Missouri area and attended Warsaw High School. Shortly after she finished her schooling, she married young and raised her family. Later in life, on October 28, 1988, she was united in marriage to Paul Sorrell. Together they shared thirty-six years of marriage. She then began her career in the United States Postal Service, becoming the Postmaster for Eugene and then Kaiser, Missouri, before her retirement in 2003, with thirty-eight years of service.

In her spare time, Patricia was a member at National Association of Postmasters of the United States, Branch Home Makers Club and worked with the Missouri Rural Letter Carrier State Convention and National Conventions, traveling, watching football, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and going shopping, whether she bought anything or not. She also like working as an election poll worker in Camden County.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 3, 2023 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in her memory.
