Richard Dean Mades, son of the late Kenneth & wife Bonnie (Newell) Mades, was born on December 15, 1957 and departed this life on October 30, 2022. At the time of his passing, he was sixty-four years, ten months and fifteen days of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.
He is survived by his wife, Rae Mades; two children, Michael & wife Erica Mades and Neva Mades; one sister, Charlotte Mades; and six grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of many friends and family who will all truly miss him.
Richard was raised in St. Charles, Missouri where he would later graduate from high school. While in high school, Richard met his soon to be wife, Rae Senter and following their graduation, they were united in marriage on June 24, 1978. They remained in St. Charles for a few years before moving to Camdenton in 1981 and later to Tuscumbia in 1996. While living at Lake of the Ozarks, they not only raised their family, but made many friends through Richard’s social life style. He enjoyed working as a machinist for many shops in the area and later began working for Picks Gallery in 1998, where he remained until his retirement in 2020.
In his spare time, Richard loved to spend time with family and friends, enjoy a cold Miller Lite and sculpt various things from car parts.
He was a loving and a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
