Richard Raymond Sisto, Sr

Richard Raymond Sisto, SR, son of Charles Sisto, was born November 26, 1946 in Woodville, New Hampshire. He departed this life Friday, February 24, 2017 in his home, at the age of seventy years, two months, and twenty – nine days. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lucille Sisto; daughter Shiela Goldsberry; son James Goldsberry; and his son-in-law Bert Howard. He is survived by his fiancé, Barbara Brooks, of the home; his son, Richard Sisto, of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters, Norma Ables of Pittsburgh, Missouri, and Tammy Howard of Hollister, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Anthony, Savannah, Jonathan, William, Marissa, J.P., Clinton, and Ricky; five great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. Richard was born in New Hampshire and moved to Albany, New York area when he was two and graduated high school in New York. He entered into the United States Army in 1969. He was discharged in 1970 at Fort Leonard Wood. Richard then made his home here in Missouri. Richard worked as a logger, mechanic and working around farms to support his family. Richard enjoyed hunting fishing, spending time with family. He rode bulls in his early years at the local rodeos. He cared for Lucille until the time of her passing. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and many friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will be after the services Wednesday in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. A memorial has been established to assist the family they can be mailed to the funeral home at 15 Clint Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri 65020.
