SHARON HALLEY Sharon Elouise Halley, daughter of Elmo and Margaret Noe, was born Monday, March 17, 1947 in Kingsport, Tennessee. She departed this life, Saturday, November 1, 2008 in her home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of sixty-one years, seven months and fifteen days. On December 4, 1997 in Midlothian, Illinois, she was united in marriage to Joseph Harry Halley. Together they shared the past eleven years. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survivors include her husband, Joe Halley of the home; two children, Vernon Smith and wife Marie and Veronica Smith and husband Donald all of Camdenton, Missouri; ten grandchildren; two step-daughters, Kelly Medina and husband Ed of Romeoville, Illinois and Kristen Rohmer and husband Mike of San Diego, California; two step-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sharon was raised in the Chicago area and spent most of her life there. She worked as an administrator for the University of Illinois in Chicago. She and her family moved to the lake area about six years ago. She made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Grace Baptist Church in Richland, Missouri. She loved flowers and had a knack for growing things. She enjoyed going to garage sales. Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 6, 2008 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to a fund established to assist the family and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
