Aimee Horton

AIMEE LEIGH HORTON Aimee Leigh Horton, daughter of Warren Lee and Connie Mae Lyster Satterfield was born, October 8, 1980 in Springfield, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, February 21, 2009 in her home, Macks Creek, Missouri at the age of twenty-eight years, four months and thirteen days. On August 27, 2004 in Marshfield, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Jack Anthony Horton and together they shared the past four years. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clint and Rayma Lyster. Survivors include her loving husband, Jack Horton of the home; her parents, Warren Lee and Connie Satterfield of Elkland, Missouri; three brothers, Scott Booyer and wife Muriel of Niangua, Missouri, Curtis Satterfield and wife Kendi of West Liberty, Missouri and Eric Satterfield of Licking, Missouri; two sisters, Melissa Keen of Lebanon, Missouri and Katie Mae Satterfield of Elkland, Missouri and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Aimee grew up in Webster County and after her marriage to Jack, moved to Mack Creek. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Camdenton. In her spare time she enjoyed animals of all kinds. She was interested in archeology and geology and liked to study rocks and fossils. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, fishing and swimming. She studied and was fluent in speaking Spanish and American Sign Language. Aimee was a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. Although her life was much too brief, she made an impact on many lives and her memory will live on forever in our hearts. Graveside services and burial will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2009 in Parrack Grove Cemetery, Macks Creek, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to a fund established to assist the family and left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
