Alice Marie Allred

Alice Marie Allred, daughter of Louis Donald and Betty Jean Fudge Jeffries Calvert, was born March 29, 1957 in Camdenton, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, August 8, 2016 in Citizens Memorial Hospital, Bolivar, Missouri, at the age of fifty-nine years, four months, and ten days. On July 22, 2006, Alice was united in marriage to Alan Allred, and together they have shared the last ten years. Her parents preceded Alice in death. Alice is survived by her husband, Alan, of the home; her children, Westley Cecil and fiancé Amanda, of St. James, Missouri, Sarah Trandum and husband Levi, of Linn Creek, Missouri, Matthew Smith and fiancé Kelsey, of Osage Beach, Missouri, and Caleb Allred, of Ft. Hood, Texas; her grandchildren, Blake Toolooze, Dillon Cecil, Kalob Cecil, Carter Smith, and Emma Allred; a great-granddaughter, Leah Toolooze, and she was greatly anticipating the birth of her second great-grandchild; her brothers, Mike Jeffries and wife Michelle, of Camdenton, Missouri, and Lee Jeffries, of Warsaw, Missouri; a number of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Alice was born in Camdenton and was a graduate of Sedalia Smith Cotton High School in the Class of 1975. In her younger years, Alice was a professional dance skater and later in life she owned and operated Shear Pleasures in Camdenton for many years. She also was a talented musician and played in various music groups throughout her life. Alice had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of Linn Creek Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Louisburg, Missouri. In her spare time, Alice enjoyed quilting, listening to Patsy Cline’s music, working in her flower garden, playing her guitar, and singing. Time spent with her family was something that she truly cherished. Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends. Funeral services for Alice Allred will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016, in Linn Creek Baptist Church, Linn Creek, Missouri. Visitation will be from noon till time of service. Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery, Montreal, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the church or Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
