Alma N. Wendt Morris, daughter of John George and Josephine Frances (Janice) Wendt, was born, February 7,1942 in Chicago, Illinois. She departed this life, May 25, 2019, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of Seventy seven years, three months and eighteen days. On January 21, 1961 in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, she was united in marriage to George Eugene Morris and to this union three sons were born. Together they shared fifty-three years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband George Eugene Morris. Survivors include her three sons, Richard Morris of Camdenton, Missouri, Glenn Morris of Linn Creek, Missouri and Craig Morris and wife Nicole of Lee Summit, Missouri; two grandchildren, Paige Lucille and Brock William; a sister-in-law, Ann Morris of Bowie, Texas; two special friends, Suzanne and Samantha Nation and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Alma was raised in Chicago and she made her home in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1961. She owned and operated Morris and Sons Mobile Home Transportations for twenty-one years. While at the lake, she owned Blue Moon Bar and G-Bar-M. She also owned the A-Road Mini Mart for nine years. In her spare time, she loved to fish. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs fan and attended as many games as she could. She also loved to feed the hummingbirds around her house but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
