Andrew White

Andrew Elliott “Andy” White, was born July 14, 1971 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He departed this life, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in his home, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of forty-five years due to heart failure. Andrew is survived by his son; Connelly White, of Manhattan, Kansas, (KSU); his parents, Leonard “Gary” and Karen White of Camdenton, Missouri; his brothers, Gregory White and wife Beth, of Liberty Hill Texas and Stevenson White and wife Angelina, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, his nephews, Grant and Benjamin White; his loving companion, Tricia McCollum and numerous other family members. In 1990, Andrew graduated from Iowa City High School where he excelled in academics, football and track. He won numerous sports and academic awards and won the Drake Relays in the Discus event. He attended Truman State University on a full ride scholarship for both track and football. After an injury, he transferred to Iowa State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and started his career in law. Andrew moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 2001. He opened his private practice, The Law Offices of Andrew E. White. He was a member of Elks Lodge 2517. Andrew helped countless individuals throughout his career and was truly a giving and loving man, especially concerning the needs of children. In his spare time, Andrew enjoyed riding his motorcycle, boating/kayaking on the Lake of the Ozarks, golfing, and traveling. He was an avid St. Louis Blues fan and enjoyed watching/attending all sports events. Andrew was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and many accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Andrew White Memorial for a college fund for his son Connelly and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
