Ann S. Church, daughter of the late Carmine & Adeline (Laurenza) Salamone, was born on February 24, 1930 and departed this life on November 2, 2022. At the time of her passing, she was ninety-two years, eight months and nine days of age.
Ann was born in Meriden, Connecticut where she lived with her parents, Carmine & Adeline Salamone until she married Michael Fazzio. Together, they had three children, Linda, Marlene and Lori. She also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ann and Mike lived in Meriden, Connecticut where they raised their three children. They opened a pizza restaurant in Meriden and Wallingford, Connecticut. Unfortunately, years later, they were divorced and moved on to have separate lives. Ann remarried Raymond Church and lived in Connecticut for many years. They retired from the bar business in Meriden and moved to Florida where Ray died a few years later. Ann loved Florida; she had a beautiful condo but when she had stroke, she came to live with her oldest daughter, Linda and her husband Dale, who, by the way, was more like a son. When Dale and Linda could no longer care for her, she moved into Laurie Care Center, where she lived until her death.
Her children and grandchildren visited her often, as well as, a few of her good friends. The staff at the care center loved her. She was always in a good humor and never complained. She will be missed more than words can say. She remains in our hearts always. She was a bright light in all of our lives. She had sense of humor that was wonderful.
“We love you, Mom”
