Ann Marie Allen

Ann Marie Allen, daughter of Beryl and Marianette (Durfey) Allen, was born, January 6, 1962 in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life, January 26, 2021, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of 59 years and 20 days. She was preceded in death by her father, Beryl Allen, and brother-in-law, Ron Asmann. She is survived by her mother, Marianette Allen of Camdenton, Missouri, sister, Becky Rowson & husband Mike, of Columbia, Missouri, Maribeth Asmann of Lake Ozark, Missouri; Patti Raithel and husband Kyle, of Linn Creek, Missouri; nieces and nephew, Scott Rowson, Tara Randle, Amy Hildebrand, Amber Elliott, Victoria Harriman and Jade Buchanan. And 16 great nieces and nephews. Ann was born and raised at the Lake of the Ozarks. On October 6, 1979, her senior year, Ann was in an automobile accident that changed her life. But she met her new challenges head on and was still an active member of the community. She loved living at the lake and never took for granted the beauty of the area and especially enjoyed outings at Ha Ha Tonka. When she was at home, the squirrels eating at the birdfeeder out her window, brought her lots of entertainment. Ann worked for Wal-Mart for almost 30 years as a people greeter. Always welcoming people with a smile and often holding up an “I love you” sign with her hand. Ann was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church where she could be found on the front row, every chance she could. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to live music with her family at area restaurants where many of the musicians knew her by name. Ann was a talented artist and created many beautiful paintings throughout the years. She was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., February 6, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, in Camdenton, Missouri. Private burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to Wonderland Camp or Brain Injury Association of Missouri and mailed to the funeral home: 15 Clint Ave, Camdenton, Missouri 65020.
