Arthur Raymond Hannah, Jr., was born December 7, 1938 in Silex, Missouri. He departed this life Friday, January 12, 2018 in his home, at the age of seventy-nine years. On January 9, 1960 Arthur was married to Shirley Spargo in Lemay, Missouri and to this union two children were born. His parents, and a sister, Rita Ruiz, preceded him in death. Arthur is survived by his wife, Shirley; a son, Arthur R. Hannah III, of Camdenton, Missouri; a daughter, Lynnette Smith and husband, John, Jr., of Richland, Missouri; his grandchildren, Arthur R. Hannah, IV, of Foristell, Missouri, Rachael Hannah-Croce, of St. Charles, Missouri, Wesley Smith and wife Katey, of Brumley, Missouri, Cody Smith, currently serving in the United States Air Force in Nebraska, and Kristin Plemmons and husband Randy, of Ulman, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, two sisters Anna Richardson and husband Bob, and Beverly Tebeau, all of Florissant, Missouri; one brother, Dennis Hannah and wife Peggy of Camdenton, Missouri; and Sherri Croce, who was like a daughter to Art, of Foristell, Missouri; a number of nieces, nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Arthur spent his younger years living in the Silex area and entered into the United States Army following high school where he was a paratrooper. He was honorably discharged and moved to the St. Louis area where he began his career as a beer brewer with Anheuser-Busch. He retired after thirty-eight years. He was baptized into the Catholic Church as an infant. Arthur was a member of the Elks, the Solid 50 Club, and was in the Teamsters Union. In his spare time, Arthur enjoyed fishing, jugging, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
