Aubrey O Denny Aubrey O’Neal Denny, son of Eugene and Emma Sandage Denny, was born, October 30, 1914 in Decaturville, Missouri. He departed this life, Monday evening, September 18, 2017, in Mercy Hospital, Lebanon, Missouri at the age of one hundred two years, ten months and nineteen days. On December 22, 1944 he was united in marriage to Betty Lou Thomas and to this union, one daughter was born. Together they shared seventy-three wonderful years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Dorothy Denny Forbes and three brothers, Virgil, Delbert and Goss Denny. He is survived by his wife, Betty of the home and his daughter, Darlene Denny of Camdenton as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Aubrey was a lifelong resident of Camden County. He served in the United States Army in World War II in the South Pacific and was a lifetime member of the Disabled Veterans. He had worked as a custodian at Camdenton R-III Schools for seven years. Aubrey’s passion though was his farm. Aubrey had been saved and baptized at an early age and attended Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church for many years. In his spare time, Aubrey loved tending to his farm. He would help any of the other farmers with any questions that they may have had. He loved time spent with his family and his friends. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. He is leaving his family and friends with many wonderful memories. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017, in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow in Myetta Cemetery, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m., till time of service in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Myetta Cemetery and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
