Avron “Ron” Limerl Estep, son of Charles Estep and Ella Miller Steinfeld, was born November 13, 1959 in Huntsville, Arkansas. He departed this life Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Laclede County, Missouri, at the age of fifty-six years, seven months, and twenty-four days. On July 9, 2004, Ron was united in marriage to Kathy O. Beeler and together they shared twelve years of marriage. His father-in-law, James Beeler, preceded Ron in death. Ron is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home; three sons, Aavron Estep, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Marcell Estep and wife Patrice, of Ocala, Florida, and Clint Gann and wife Melissa, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter, Amy Lemons and husband Chad, of Grovespring, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; his father, Charles Estep and wife Ilene, of Witter, Arkansas; his mother, Ella Steinfeld and husband Walt, of Rogers, Arkansas; a brother, Ray Estep and wife Roxana, of Springdale, Arkansas; two sisters, Vicky Dolan and husband Scott, of Round Rock, Texas; and Ellen Crates of, Fayetteville, Arkansas; his two dogs, Bub and Sis; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ron was born in Arkansas and moved to Sarasota, Florida at an early age. He was a graduate of Sarasota High School in the Class of 1978, and while high school, Ron was active in ROTC. He entered into the United States Army and served three years as an MP in Germany before being honorably discharged. Ron and his family moved to the Camdenton area in 1986. In 2003 he purchased Camdenton Mini-Storage. Ron believed in giving back to his community and helping those in need. He has served for many years as the Executive Director and Treasurer for the Lake Area Helping Hands Shelter. He also helped his wife Kathy operate the Helping Hands thrift store and flea market for a number of years. In 1988, Ron started going to the Camden County Jail and witnessed to those in need faithfully every Sunday until his passing. Ron had accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was a member of Graceland Church in Camdenton. He was one of the founding members, along with Dr. Wayne Cooper, of the Community Foundation of the Lake, and was also a member of the West Lake Ministerial Alliance Ron lived life to the fullest. His faith and belief in helping anyone in need were some of the things that he will be most remembered for. His favorite passage in the bible comes from Matthew 25:40 "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'
