Barbara Duermyer

BARBARA DUERMYER Barbara Lynn Duermyer, daughter of Robert Hartman and Mary Alice Clark Snider, was born, January 22, 1959 in Aurora, Illinois. She departed this life, Thursday, December 15, 2011, in her home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of fifty-two years, ten months and twenty-three days. On October 22, 1999 in Linn Creek, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Dwayne Anthony Duermyer. Together they shared the past twelve years of marriage Survivors include her husband, Dwayne Duermyer of the home; three daughters, Saundra French and husband Chris, Amber Duermyer-Miller and husband Jeff and Sheena Bender and husband Joey all of Camdenton, Missouri; two grandchildren, Hailey Weitkamp and Jace Bender; her mother, Mary Snider and husband Jerry of Lee's Summit, Missouri; a sister, Rhonda Wiest of Lee's Summit, Missouri; a nephew, William Preston Wiest and wife Megan of Lee's Summit, Missouri and a host of other relatives and many friends. Barbara was raised in the Kansas City area. She moved to the Lake of the Ozarks many years ago. She worked at Tan-Tar-A and Consumers Market in Osage Beach. She was currently working as a secretary for the family's plumbing business. Barbara attended New Testament Christian Church in Linn Creek. In her spare time she enjoyed working in her gardens, growing flowers and making rock gardens. Most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren brought her joy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. A family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a fund established to assist the family and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
