Benjamin "Ben" Harrison Trapp, Iii

Benjamin Harrison Trapp III Benjamin Harrison Trapp III, son of Benjamin Harrison, Jr. and May E. Karbowski Trapp, was born, April 10, 1934 in Omaha, Nebraska. He departed this life, Monday, May 28, 2018, in his home, Linn Creek, Missouri at the age of eighty-four years, one month and eighteen days. He was united in marriage to Carol Sue Binkley and to this union three children were born. Together they shared sixty-five wonderful years of marriage He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Trapp and a great-granddaughter, Kiera Renee Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Carol Trapp of the home; his children, Ronald Trapp and wife Vickie of Bellevue, Nebraska, Michael Trapp of Lebanon, Missouri and Lauri Dahir and husband Terry of Lebanon, Missouri; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack Trapp and wife Dottie of Worthington, Minnesota; a sister, Margie Schechinger and husband Jack of Naples, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Ben enjoyed his retirement at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was still active in providing accounting services and serving as a Democratic Election Judge for Camden County in Linn Creek. He had a passion for playing pool, watching Husker football and enjoying a cold brew. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and willing to lend a helping hand to family, neighbors and friends. Ben was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Omaha, Nebraska and time and date will be posted on the funeral homes website upon completion. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska. Online condolences may be made at www.alleeholmanhowe.com.
