Benny Ray Murrill, son of Glennie and Ruby Goodnight Murrill, was born, July 5, 1945 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He departed this life, March 14, 2022, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri at the age of seventy-six years, eight months and nine days. On October 29, 1994 in Prospect, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Victoria Louise Wetherill, whom he loved dearly. Together they shared twenty-seven years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie; his parents; his step-dad and son, Heath Murrill. Survivors include two sons, Scott Murrill of Mansfield, Missouri and Brant Murrill and wife Shelly of Niangua, Missouri; his daughter, Melanie Rennison and husband Gary Rennison of Springfield, Missouri; his five granddaughters, Sarah, Haley, Heather, Samantha and Trinity; his four grandsons, Shawn, Brett, Damen and Cole; one, sister, Jean Rider; his father and mother-in-law, Bill Wetherill and wife Doris of Roach, Missouri; three brother’s-in-law, Ron Baake and wife Wendy of Morrison, Colorado, Rob Baake and wife Kim of Carthage, Missouri and Carl Akers and wife Brenda of Pensacola, Florida; four sister’s-in-law, Laurie Marler and husband Leo of Lebanon, Missouri, Zoë (Missy) Evans of Osage Beach, Missouri, Stacie Nelson of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Shannon Watt of Lee Summit, Missouri; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Benny had accepted Christ and had gotten assurance of his salvation after Vickie’s passing. In his spare time, he loved hunting. Benny especially loved time together with his family, and enjoyed a good meal. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, son, brother, uncle and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Benny loved and cherished Vickie and was ready to go home and be with her. We can have peace in our hearts knowing they are together forever. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
