BETTY L. CONNER Betty Lou Conner, daughter of Mack V. and Lois Marie Rogers Cullen, was born, July 21, 1943 in Camden County, Missouri. She departed this life, Saturday, June 23, 2007 in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Missouri at the age of sixty-three years, eleven months and three days. On August 18, 1961, she was united in marriage to Chester George Doyle. On February 14, 1986, she was united in marriage to Walter B. Conner. Both preceded her in death. She is survived by a two daughters, Eva Duermyer and Betty Teresa Hannon both of Camdenton, Missouri; four sons, Charles Doyle of Springfield, Missouri, Joseph Doyle and wife Angela Marie of Camdenton, Missouri, Steven Doyle and James D. Koehler both of Lebanon, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two sisters, Joan Walhers and Donna Kays both of Camdenton, Missouri; two brothers, W.B. Cullen and Joe E. Cullen both of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was raised in Camden County and lived in various states throughout her life. She returned to Camdenton in 1972. Besides being a homemaker and mother to her children, she worked as a cook in various restaurants. In her spare time she enjoyed playing with her great-grandchild and having beauty days. She also enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift stores, cooking, spending time on the computer and giving everyone a "hard time". Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2007 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Dogwood Animal Shelter and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
