Betty Wright

Betty Lou Wright, daughter of Manuel Jefferson and Mildred Maxine Osborn Blair, was born March 22, 1945 in Camdenton, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, February 13, 2012 in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-six years, ten months, and twenty-two days. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Charles Wright, Sr. Betty is survived by her daughter, Paula Evans and husband Steve, of Camdenton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Charles Wright, Jr., of Camdenton, Missouri, Carissa Wade and husband Brandon, of Camdenton, Missouri, Derringer Wright of Camdenton, Missouri, and Austin and Dakota Welsh, of Camdenton, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Grace and Charli Wade; her brother, Jerry Blair and wife Linda, of Montreal, Missouri; her uncle, Malcolm Osborn and wife Joan, of Linn Creek, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Betty was a lifelong resident of Camdenton. She worked at Blair Cedar and Novelty Works in Camdenton for twenty-eight years, retiring in 2009. She had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Camdenton. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed going antique shopping and watching Antiques Road show whenever possible. She was also an avid follower of the "Country Sale" on KS95. Betty loved spending as much time as possible with her family and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren as often as she could. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Hugo Cemetery, Linn Creek, Missouri. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Hugo Cemetery and can be left at the funeral home the day of the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
