Bj Betty Jean Byland

BJ Brown Byland, daughter of Allen Floyd and Wannie Winnie Walker Brown, was born, November 22, 1940 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She departed this life, April 22, 2019, in St. Mary's Health Center, Jefferson City, Missouri at the age of Seventy eight years and five months. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Bob Anderson. She is survived by her sons, Doug Byland and wife Geralyn of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Phill Byland and Connie Baker of Camdenton, Missouri,; seven grandchildren, Amber, Misty, Alisya, Cory, Kara, Makayla, and Gage,; seven great grandchildren, sister, Katherine Freeman of Daytona Beach, Florida,; niece, Wendy Freeman of Daytona Beach, Florida,; and a very close and dear friend Russ Mills and his three children of Camdenton, Missouri,; and other relatives and many friends. BJ was raised in Daytona Beach, Florida and then moved to Missouri in 1959. She has lived in Moberly, Jefferson City and the Lake of the Ozarks. While she lived in Jefferson City she owned the bar BJ'S 21 East. BJ was a spiritualist. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends, loving life and helping people with anything she could. She was always doing fundraisers and donating to Dogwood Animal Shelter, and giving spiritual advice to people. She was a very sweet and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to Dogwood Animal Shelter and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
