Bobby Norris

BOBBY NORRIS Robert Michael Norris Jr., son of Robert Michael Norris Sr. and Donna Kay Sayers Norris, was born, April 14, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life, Friday, December 26, 2014, in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of fifty years, eight months and twelve days. On August 21, 1993, he was united in marriage to Cheryl Elaine Lassiter. Together they shared twenty-one years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Norris of the home; three children, Krista Norris of Kansas City, Missouri, Adam Norris and fiancé, Kayla Davis of Camdenton, Missouri and Kyra Goodyear of Camdenton, Missouri; five grandchildren, Dominik, Hayden, Noah, Owen and Alex; his parents, Robert Sr. and Donna Norris, of Edwards, Missouri; two sisters, Kelly Spitler and husband Kenny of , Strausburg, Missouri and Stacy Bonthius and husband Darin of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Bobby was raised in Blue Springs, Missouri. He lived in Texas and Indiana before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks. He worked as a painter and was a general “fix-it” man. At the lake, he worked for Windemere Conference Center and Lodge of the Four Seasons. In his spare time, he loved to fish. He enjoyed cars and was good with fixing motors. He loved children and children seemed to be drawn to him. Most of all, time spent with his family was precious to him, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. Although he left us too early, we take comfort in the fact that his memory will linger on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015 in New Home Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Regional Hospice and left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
