BRENDA THOMPSON Brenda Alice Thompson, daughter of Burval August and Theda Maurice Morgan Thompson, was born, January 14, 1951 in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life, Saturday, October 10, 2015, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-four years, eight months and twenty-six days. She was preceded in death by her parents, B.A. Thompson in 1990 and Theda Thompson in 2014. Survivors include her brother, Tommy Morgan Thompson and wife Becky of Camdenton, Missouri; her sister, Sandra Weaver and husband Ken of Fayette, Missouri; three nephews, Jamie Goode and Robert Goode both of Camdenton, Missouri and Devon Thompson of Dallas, Texas; two nieces, Casey Morris and husband Jeff of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Megan Whitledge of Dallas Texas; three great-nieces, Ashley Ward and husband Trevor of Washburn, Missouri and Abby Morris and Sarah Morris both of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two great-nephews, Dylan Goode of Washburn, Missouri and Caleb Morris of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two great-great-nephews, Connor Ward and Emitt Ward both of Washburn, Missouri; an uncle, Jack Morgan of Lee's Summit, Missouri and a host of other relatives and many friends. Brenda was raised in Camdenton, Missouri and was a graduate of Camdenton High School in the class of 1970. She attended Camdenton Community Christian Church. Brenda was an avid fan of “The Young and the Restless” and watched it daily. She enjoyed going to Brownell Physical Therapy in Camdenton for thirteen years, three times a week. She loved and adored cats and shrimp was her favorite food to eat. She had a giant heart full of love for all those she came in contact with. Brenda loved to have fun and enjoyed life to the fullest. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Camdenton Community Christian Church under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday in the church. Memorial donations may be made to Dogwood Animal Shelter and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
