Brenda Fay Wehmeyer, daughter of Stephen Obediah and Gladys Laverne Pace Noble, was born, August 22, 1951 in Belton, Texas. She departed this life, Sunday, June 9, 2024, in her home, Macks Creek, Missouri at the age of seventy-two years, nine months and eighteen days.
On December 31, 1975, she was united in marriage to James Michael Wehmeyer and to this union they were blessed with six children. Together they shared forty-eight years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter who passed in infancy; a great-grandson, Jaxtyn Eidson and two brothers, Curtis Noble and Michael Noble.
She is survived by her husband, James Wehmeyer of the home; her six children, Charles Pitts and wife Marie of Roach, Missouri, Curtis Wehmeyer and wife Tami of Camdenton, Missouri, Casey Wehmeyer and wife Rebecca of Jefferson City, Missouri, Candia Eidson and husband Jamie of Macks Creek, Missouri, Catrina Moulder of Macks Creek, Missouri and Eric Wehmeyer and wife LaQuinta of Elgin, Oklahoma; her twenty-two grandchildren, Rebecca, Joshua, Jonathan, Randi, Steven, Christopher, Chloe, Carissa, Mickey, Debreona, Brett, Treyton, Dominique, Brady, Connor, Cody, Kali, Caytlin, Courtney, Cami, Cash and Tyler; her six great-grandchildren; her five siblings, Vala Allen and husband Frank of Trenton, Georgia, JoAnne Brogan of Linn Creek, Missouri, Mark Noble of Trenton, Georgia, Melissa Albert and husband John of Bolivar, Missouri, and Matthew Noble of Trenton, Georgia; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Brenda was raised in Holland, Texas. They moved to Camdenton, Missouri in November of 1984 and then later made their forever home in Macks Creek, Missouri.
Brenda was saved in her late teen years and attended Harmony Church. She built her life around her love for the Lord and it was her prayers, that others would share that same love. She loved singing his praises with her family and friends. Brenda cherished the time spent singing with her children and grandchildren, teaching them all to sing “You Are My Sunshine.”
In her spare time, Brenda loved going to thrift shops. She was so proud of all the children that she had supported for thirty-four years at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Brenda loved watching her grandchildren play sports and was dedicated to her family.
She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2024, in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 21, 2024 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or LAMB House and left at the funeral home.
