Brenda L Brake

Brenda L. Brake Brenda Lou Brake, daughter of Johnny Wade and Margery Florene Rainwater Lawrence, was born, September 11, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life, Tuesday morning, January 3, 2017, in her home, Montreal, Missouri at the age of sixty-one years, three months and twenty-three days. She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant brothers, Johnny Lawrence, Jr. and Norman Lawrence. She is survived by her daughters, Nicole Peterson and Ernest Wilson and Billie Lewis and Randy Emery both of Montreal, Missouri; her grandchildren, Dakoda and Aubrianna Schroeder; her sister, Violet Lawrence of Montreal, Missouri; her brother, Ronnie Lawrence and wife Janet of Montreal, Missouri and her nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Brenda and her family moved to Montreal when she was at the age of six years old. She attended Montreal school until it closed and then she continued to Camdenton R-III School. She had worked at various jobs until becoming a Chef at the Country Club Hotel and Spa in Lake Ozark until her health forced her to retire. Brenda made a profession of faith and was baptized at Camdenton Church of Christ where she attended church. She had a special talent doing woodworking. She had created many beautiful pieces that her family will treasure. She also loved crocheting, her cats and the thing she enjoyed most, was the time spent with her family and friends. Brenda has blessed her family with many memories that they will always treasure. She was a loving, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her many accomplishments. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2017 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Crocker, Missouri. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon till time of service in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
