Bruce Magelky, son of Margaret (Kary) and the late Frank Magelky, was born on October 13, 1953, and departed this life on February 15, 2024. At the time of his passing, Bruce was seventy years, four months and two days of age.
Bruce was preceded in passing by his father; and his father-in-law, Albert Sinovcic.
He is survived by his wife, Rene (Sinovcic) Magelky; three children, Tracey Paul, Kelly & wife Rachel Magelky, Colleen Magelky & Brandon Daley; four grandchildren, Alexia Paul, Rowan & Flynn Magelky, and Uma Paul; two siblings, Jerry Magelky and Lynn Magelky; and his mother-in-law, Jacquelyn Sinovcic. He also leaves behind many friends and other family members who will all truly miss him.
Bruce was born in Hettinger, North Dakota and later raised Regent, North Dakota, where he would graduate from Regent High School in the class of 1971. Following his high school graduation, he began the journey of his welding career, later obtaining his associate degree in engineering. On August 13, 1994, Bruce was united in marriage to Rene Sinovcic; together they would share twenty-nine years of marriage. Throughout his working years, he owned and operated his own welding business, Bruce’s Welding and Design.
In his spare time, Bruce truly loved to watch N.A.S.C.A.R, especially his favorite driver, Darrell Waltrip; While in North Dakota, Bruce loved to build and race dirt track cars. When he wasn’t involved with racing of some sort, he spent his time hunting or working in his shop, making various creations.
Bruce was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a caring neighbor & friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will cherish the memories he created for his family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 22, 2024 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the church prior to the mass. Burial will take place in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Camdenton, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
