Bruce Owen Pinkston, son of J.P. and Maudie Shamlen Pinkston, was born March 28, 1940 in Algoa, Arkansas. He departed this life April 12, 2022, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of eighty-two years, and fifteen days. Bruce was united in marriage to Margie Pinkston and to this union three children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Margie; his son, Eddie Pinkston; a sister, Annita Pinkston; five brothers, James Pinkston, JR Pinkston, Morris Pinkston, Lester Pinkston, and Larry Pinkston. He is survived by his daughter, Venus and husband Drew Bomback of California; a son, Victor Pinkston of Florida; six grandchildren, Tori Pinkston, Tyler Pinkston, Eddie Pinkston, Brian Pinkston, Justin Pinkston, and Venus Ballard; a cousin, Willie and wife Jessica Pinkston and their children Sierra and Matthew as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. Bruce was raised briefly in Arkansas before moving to California where he would raise his family and retire from McDonald Douglas. Bruce eventually moved to the Lake of the Ozarks where he live till the time of his passing. Bruce made a profession of his faith in Christ at a young age and rededicated himself years later at Calvary Chapel South Bay in California. In his spare time Bruce was a proud supporter of the NRA and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating as well as woodworking. He loved living at the lake in his elderly years and his desire to stay there was made possible by Sierra and Jessica Pinkston. Jessica whom Bruce called “his angel”, for all her help making sure he was watched over and cared for daily. He was a loving and a caring, father, grandfather, cousin, neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends .. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
