Bryan Keith Pope, son of Charles Wesley “Buddy” and Carol Jeanne (Eichelberger) Pope, was born on September 13, 1964 and departed this life on December 14, 2023. At the time of his passing, Bryan was fifty-nine years, three months and one day of age.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Jeanne Eichelberger; and his parents-in-law, James & Dorothy Selby.


He is survived by his wife, Joann Pope; four children, Robert & wife Whitney Selby, James Pope, Charles Pope and Virginia Selby; eight grandchildren, Colten Grace, Kayden Selby, Aubrey Selby, Oliver Selby, Dade Morgan, Graham Weyer, Delilah Germain and Dorothea Germain. Bryan also leaves behind many friends and other family members who will all truly miss him.

Bryan was born in Tampa, Florida but raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where he would attend Ritnor High School. On March 21, 1992, in Zion Lutheran Church in Valley Park, Missouri, Bryan was united in marriage to Joann Selby, together they shared thirty-one years of marriage. Throughout his working years, Bryan worked for various places such as, Wal-Mart, Hy-Vee, Aarons Transmission and the Camdenton Butcher Shop.


In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and watching baseball, especially his beloved St. Louis Cardinals.


He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.


Memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church or Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home and left at the funeral home.
