Caden Nelson Hawk

Caden Nelson Hawk (20 years old) passed unexpectedly on early Thursday morning, September 21, 2023. His spirit and laughter lives on in his dear family and circle of friends.

He was born in Osage Beach, Missouri in 2003. He thrived in Lake of the Ozarks, where he lived his whole life. His second home was in northwest Missouri visiting immediate family there. Caden attended Camdenton R-III Schools from elementary to middle school, and he completed high school through James Madison, where he got his diploma with English honors.

Like father, like son, Caden had a passionate interest in cars, games, rock music, collectibles, and outdoor sports of all kinds from hunting, target practicing, hiking, caving, rock climbing and as a young boy, he participated in Boy Scouts.

While attending Camdenton Schools, he was involved in Cross Country and FFA. His love of animals included doting on his two dogs (Pepper and Mini) and chasing lizards, turtles, and beach crabs in both Missouri and Florida.

Clever and mischievous, he was a warm presence among those he was closest to, bound to make just about anyone laugh. As a little brother, the second born and youngest child in his home, he maintained a curious and high-spirited attitude in life.

Loving the spotlight, he frequently exclaimed, “Watch this!” He left a deep impression in everyone he came across.

Caden is survived by his mother & step-father April & John LeJeune; one sibling Caitlin Hawk (Nathan) of Manassas, VA; Grandparents: Carole Hawk of Sanibel, FL; Gary & Debbie Plymell of Macks Creek, MO; Aunts: Amy Hawk (Frank) of Fort Meyers, FL; Jennifer (Tim) Turner of McFall, MO; Cousins: Dillon (Ally) Turner, Mekenzie Turner (Quincy), and Zoey Turner. Great Grandparents: Helen & Kenneth Plymell; and many more great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Caden was preceded in death by his father Chad Hawk and grandfather Clarence Hawk.

Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
