CALVIN DUDLEY Calvin Coolidge Dudley, son of Robert Louis and Anna Bell Reed Dudley, was born, January 2, 1924 in Niangua, Missouri. He departed this life, Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach at the age of eighty-four years, two months and seventeen days. On August 23, 1944 in Grove Springs, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Alice Mae Deckard and to this union nine children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Don Dudley and Karl Dudley; two daughters, Joan McMillin and Brenda McDaniel; three brothers, Howard, Kenny and Ivan Dudley; two sisters, Louise Dinwiddie and Retha Terry and four grandchildren, Jeffery Terry, Melissa McMillin, Aaron McMillin and Cyndra McDaniel. Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Alice Dudley of the home; five daughters, Connie Miller and husband Charles of St. Elizabeth, Missouri, Betty Humphery and husband Harold of Roach, Missouri, Donna Neftzger and husband John of Camdenton, Missouri, Dianna Radford and husband Michael of Licking, Missouri and Cynthia McLean and husband Daniel of Albertville, Alabama; twenty-two grandchildren; fifty-nine great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; a brother Dutch Dudley and wife Ann of Niangua, Missouri; a sister Reba Renager and husband Fred of Oregon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Calvin was raised in Niangua, Missouri and worked for Kraft Foods as a milk truck driver for twenty years. In 1963 he and his family moved to Camdenton, Missouri where he worked as a supervisor at Midwest Lumber Company for ten years. Later he worked as a custodian for Camdenton Junior High School. He made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Church of Christ in Camdenton. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling and playing cards with his family. Calvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. He touched many lives and we will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2008 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, in the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
