Carl Franklin Rogers, better known as Johnny, to family and friends, son of Oras Franklin and Bertha Evelyn Hemphill Rogers, was born, January 26, 1944 in Roach, Missouri. He departed this life, January 17, 2019, in Ozark Rehabilitation Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy four years, eleven months and twenty two days. On March 20, 1965, in Camdenton, Missouri he was united in marriage to Mildred Louise Patton and to this union two children were born. Together they shared fifty three years of marriage He was preceded in death by his parents, Oras and Eva Rogers, brother Charlie Rogers and five sisters, Jane Bruscher, Ilene Rogers, Dolores June Hutchsen, Colleen Smyth and Shirley Yardley. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Rogers of Camdenton, Missouri,; daughter Elizabeth Ann Moss and husband Kevin of Glenwood City, Wisconsin,; son, David Timothy Rogers and friend Aimee White of Camdenton, Missouri,; five grandchildren, Wesley and Curtis Moss of Glenwood City, Wisconsin, Bethany Moss Gontarek and husband Bob of Hammond, Wisconsin, Karie Moss Dhingra and husband Tarun of New Delhi, India, and Maddie White-Rogers of Camdenton, Missouri,; two brothers, Ronnie Rogers of Montreal, Missouri and Roger Rogers of Roach, Missouri, four sisters, Bernice Wood and husband Junior of Eldon, Missouri, Patsy Wyrick and husband Rusty of Kansas City, Kansas, Norma Rogers McConnell and husband David of Macks Creek, Missouri, and Bonnie Bachtel of Montreal, Missouri,; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Carl was born in Roach and his made his home here at the lake. Carl made a profession of faith and was a member of United Pentecostal Church of Versailles, Missouri ministered by Pastor Gerald Hamlett. In his spare time he enjoyed playing his guitar and checkers, reading, going on hikes and picnics. He loved spending time with his family and going to church. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
