Carlos Ramon Zamarripa, son of Tino Zamarripa and Sylvia Mae Rambo, was born on July 6, 1966 and departed this life on April 17, 2025. At the time of his passing, Carlos was fifty-eight years, nine months and eleven days of age.

Carlos was preceded in passing by his parents; step-father, Harold Snider; and three siblings, Florentino Zamaripa III, Antonio Valentino Zamarripa and Amanda Carmetlia Brower.

He is survived by his five children, Randy Helton, James Zamarripa, Heather Zamarripa, Ashley (Wesley) Honeycutt and Lisa Zamarripa (Todd Wright); five grandchildren, Ryan Zamarripa, Carmilita Zamarripa, Paisley Honeycutt, Sylvia Honeycutt and Justyce Zamarripa, plus a grandson on the way and many more grandchildren; and four siblings, Galina (Vernon) Nichols, Phil (Carolyn) Zamarripa, Estelita Raquel Walters, and Kathy Ranee (Ralph) Ziegler. In his passing, he also leaves behind many friends and other family who will all truly miss him.

Carlos was raised in St. Louis County where he would attend a Catholic school in Carrollton in his early years; He would then attend Eugene School and later Eldon School. Following, he would spend thirty-three years with his life partner, Lois Adele Potts Zamarripa.

Carlos made a profession of Catholic faith and would become a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Carlos first job was working at a turkey farm across from the middle school at the early age of just thirteen years old. He would then begin working as a medical transport driver, where he truly developed a passion in his line of work over his nineteen years of service. Following his retirement, which truly broke his heart, he would eventually find peace at home with family.

In his spare time, he loved to go fishing, playing pool, cooking & baking for his family and mushroom hunting. Above all, he loved to be around his family; his better half, the kids and grandkids were his happy place.

Carlos was a loving father, grandfather, brother & a caring neighbor and friend. Together we celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the many memories he created for family and friends.
