CAROL RUTH ELENA BEAMAN Carol Ruth Elena Beaman, daughter of Kelly Elsworth and Madeline Margaret Williams Edwards Webb, was born, January 14, 1945 in Camdenton, Missouri. She departed this life, Friday, April 1, 2016, in University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri at the age of seventy-one years, two months and eighteen days. On July 20, 1970 in Miami, Oklahoma, she was united in marriage to John Prentice Beaman. Together they shared twenty-eight years of marriage until his passing on August 9, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bruce Wallander; a granddaughter, Alma Chandler and a sister, Barbara Burns. Survivors include her children, Kelly Wallander and wife Eydie of Montreal, Missouri, Angela Arnold and husband David of Macks Creek, Missouri, Coty Beaman and wife Amy of Camdenton, Missouri, Madeline Kincaid and husband James of Camdenton, Missouri, Christina Mitchell and husband Rob of Macks Creek, Missouri, Sharon Kay Ford of California, John "Sonny" Beaman, II of Sedalia, Missouri and Jesse Beaman of Arkansas; twenty-six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Janice McGuire and husband Gene , Kelly Edwards and wife Kim and Brad Edwards and wife Chris all of Camdenton, Missouri, Neal Edwards and wife Nicki and Timothy Edwards all of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Carol lived in the Camdenton area most of her life. She worked as a waitress and cook in several restaurants. She was very involved with her children’s activities. She was president of the P.T.A. and served as a Cub Scout Den Mother. She served on the Board of Aldermen for the town of Mack Creek. She was on the planning committee for the 4th of July Picnic. She was saved and was a Baptist. In her spare time, she enjoyed to reading, dancing and playing games. She loved to be outdoors attending her flowers. Most of all, time spent with her family was precious to her. She was a loving mom, grandma, sister and aunt and always did her best to make sure all were welcome in her home. She will be greatly missed by many. A memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
