Charles E. Watkins

If hard work and kindness are the measure of a man then Chuck Watkins was the best of all of us. He was a giant; 6’ 5” and 290 lbs. with a booming baritone voice and hands as big as lunch boxes. Everyone loved Chuck. Everyone. Over the past few decades Chuck traveled throughout Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Florida, and Massachusetts. And when someone would recognize him, which was often, they would get a huge smile and yell “You’re Chuck Watkins!” Everyone was always thrilled to see him, and there has never been an ill word spoken of him. He passed away surrounded by loving family and friends. He was a great man.
