Charles Floyd "Sonny" Heimbeaugh, son of JF and Lillie May (Meads) Heimbeaugh, was born October 28, 1940 in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Monday, November 5, 2018 in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of seventy-eight years and eight days. On September 25, 1959, Sonny was united in marriage to Martha Elizabeth Burns and to this union five children were born. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dan Sylvester Heimbeaugh and a son-in-law, Dwayne Eidson. He is survived by his children; Randall Heimbeaugh of Camdenton, Missouri, Sandy Denny and husband Randy, of Camdenton, Missouri, Larry Heimbeaugh and wife Teresa, of Camdenton, Missouri, and Elizabeth Eidson, of Camdenton, Missouri; his grandchildren Amanda Reeves and husband Hunter, John Heimbeaugh, Angela Fleeman, Samantha Emry and husband Coby, Nikki Franklin and husband Zach, Barbara Heimbeaugh, Amy Wallace and husband Dustin, Ashley Bisby and husband Jason, Rochelle Meisner and husband Troy, Travis McGuire and wife Katie, Crystal Thompson, Tyler Eidson, and Sarah Eidson; nineteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Mae Eidson, of Macks Creek, Missouri; a brother, Roy Heimbeaugh and wife Tammy, of Camdenton, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. In Sonny's younger years, he enjoyed fishing, working in his garden, playing horse shoes and pitch, as well as spending time with his family and friends. He spent his life working as a carpenter and mason and enjoyed finishing his career at the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Even after his retirement, Sonny enjoyed making his weekly trips to see the guys he worked with and seeing what they were up to. Sonny was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Allee-Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be left at the funeral home.
