CLARENCE HUHN Clarence Richard Huhn, son of William and Laura Schultz, was born, November 3, 1923 in Cyrpess, California. He departed this life, Monday, January 18, 2011 in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-seven years, two months and fifteen days. On June 22, 1966 in Santa Anna, California, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Jeanette Davis. Together they shared the past forty-four years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Huhn of the home; four children, Kathleen Sonora and husband Nick of Camdenton, Missouri, Richard Huhn and wife Kim of San Antonio, Texas, Pamela Jones and husband Jim of Alma, Arkansas and Raelene Walker and husband Jay of Camdenton, Missouri; eight grandchildren; a brother, James Huhn and wife Mary of San Diego, California and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Clarence was raised in Orange, California. He joined the Merchant Marines and enlisted in the United States Army and served his country in World War II. After the war, he reenlisted into the Merchant Marines and served for thirty-five years. For six years, he worked in the oil fields in Long Beach, California before retiring. He moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1992. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and was a "Mr. Fix It". Most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Graveside funeral services and military honors will be held at 3:15 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2011 in Allee Memorial Gardens, Camdenton. No formal visitation will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
