CLORA MAE WEBB Clora Mae Webb, daughter of Luther Thomas and Leona Mae McGuire Burns, was born, January 27, 1935 in Camden County, Missouri. She crossed over, Sunday, June 1, 2014, in Christian Health Care and Rehabilitation of Lebanon South, Lebanon, Missouri at the age of seventy-nine years, four months and five days. On October 31, 1954 in Camden County, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Raymond E. Webb and to this union two children were born. Together they shared twenty-seven years of marriage until his passing on August 25, 1982. In 1984 she was united in marriage to John Fowler. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Branch North and two brothers, Clarence and Glen Burns. Survivors include her children, Glenda North and husband Herb of Camdenton, Missouri and Roy J. Webb of Eldridge, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jessica North, Shari Lee, Stephanie Webb, Tanner Webb and Madison Webb; two great-grandchildren, Aric North and Hadley Harris; a step-son, Jack Fowler and wife Mary of O'Fallon, Missouri; three step-grandsons, Mike, Eric and David; two brothers, J.D. Burns and wife Fern of Eldridge, Missouri and Lester Burns of Camdenton, Missouri; two sisters, Martha Heimbeaugh and husband Sonny and Jeanie Webster and husband Junior all of Camdenton, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. At the age of five, years old, her family moved to Laclede County, where she was raised. In 1965, she and her husband moved to the Independence, Missouri area. After her husband passed away, she retired from the Oak Grove Health Care Center as a CNA and Therapist and Oak Grove Dental Clinic as a Dental Assistant and Hygienist and returned to Camden County. After her marriage to John, they lived in Laclede County. Clora was saved when she was eleven years old in a little county school named Marple near Eldridge, Missouri where revivals and services were held. She later joined Myetta Missionary Baptist Church. Clora Mae spent as much time as possible in her yard. She was very proud of her Indian heritage and was a member of the Will Rogers Indian Club for eight years. She was given the name of Berry Blossom at a Native American ceremony during a Pow Wow. She and her sister enjoyed traveling and camping all over the western part of the United States. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Decaturville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday in the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
