Cynthia Carol George Hood, daughter of Philip and Shirley George, was born, July 13, 1957 in Montpelier, Vermont. She departed this life, May 9, 2019, in her home, Camdenton, Missouri, at the age of sixty-one years, nine months, and twenty-six days. On September 5, 1987 in Vermont, she was united in marriage to Edward Clarence Hood. In this union, she was mother to three daughters. Together they shared thirty-one years of marriage. She is survived by her husband, Edward Hood of Camdenton, Missouri; her parents, Phillip George and wife Shirley of Montpelier, Vermont; daughters, Michelle Brummell and husband Roger of Hannibal, Missouri, Katie Paul and husband Dusty of Marthasville, Missouri, and Christina Adcock and husband Ryan of Vicksburg, Mississippi; grandchildren, Brooke, Colten, Gabe, Elizabeth, Alexander, Alauna, Aaron, and Ava; sisters, Leslie of New York, Shelley of Missouri, Brenda of Vermont, and Beth of Vermont; brother, Bradley of Oregon; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Cynthia was raised in Montpelier, Vermont and moved to Camdenton in the 1980's. Cynthia was an active member of Harvest Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, Lebanon, Missouri. She was dedicated to the Lord in every way. She was a prayer warrior, in love with God's word, and constantly letting anyone she came in contact with know about the saving grace found through salvation in the name of Jesus. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, cooking, and gardening. She especially loved spending time with and caring for her family. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Harvest Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, Lebanon, Missouri. Burial will follow in Allee-Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at Harvest Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church. Memorial donations may be made to Harvest Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
