Dan Shoults

Daniel Duke Shoults Dan Shoults, son of Wayne and Mary (Hall) Shoults, was born, January 28, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri. He departed this life, August 16, 2021, in Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of fifty-nine years, six months and nineteen days. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Mary Shoults; daughter, Sarah and husband James Milne; son, Daniel Shoults; Grandchildren, Blaine Shoults, Rylee Milne and Jalyn Milne; three siblings, Skip Shoults, Cathy and husband Keith Murray and John and wife Angie Shoults; his best friends, Danny and wife Rita Kliethermes; and his four-legged companion and road dog, Ely. He also leaves behind a host of many friends and other relatives who will all truly miss him. Dan was raised around St. Louis, Missouri. At an early age the family moved to Montreal, Missouri where he would meet his future wife, Mary Patton. On September 19, 1984, they were united in marriage and to this union two children were born. Together they shared thirty-six years of marriage. Together they enjoyed taking their family on boating, fishing and camping trips. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, riding his Harley and competing in black powder shoots. He truly loved to surprise the grandkids and have them spend weeks at a time with “Papa”. He was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
