Daniel Joseph Lambertz, son of the late Edwin & JoAnne (Fahy) Lambertz, was born on April 1, 1955 and departed this life on January 28, 2021. At the time of his passing, he was sixty-five years, nine months and twenty-seven days. Daniel was preceded in passing by his parents; two siblings, Tom Lambertz and Kristi Zimbelman; and step-mother, Lorraine Lambertz. He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Ella Lambertz; two children, Heather (Paul) Binczik of Pickrell, Nebraska and Heath Lambertz of Hudson, South Dakota; Siblings, Jeannie (Tom) Berry, Pat (Joe) Snow, Cheri (Tom) Camp, David (Kathy) Lambertz and; sister-in- law, Marti Lambertz; grandchildren, Christian Lambertz, Chandler Kaup, Sophie Lambertz, Jordan Moore and Kaylea Moore. He also leaves behind many friends and other family members whom will all truly miss him. Daniel was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After graduation from Washington High School, he attended electronics school in Kansas City, Missouri. He then moved to Kalispell, Montana where he did freelance construction. Shortly after returning to Sioux Falls, and a successful blind date, he was united in marriage to Ella Jean Aasen on June 27, 1981. While in Sioux Falls, he owned his own drywall business for twenty-nine years and was known for his dedication to his trade. Upon moving to the Lake of the Ozarks, he began working for Marsh Painting until his retirement in April 2020. Together they enjoyed traveling, hosting social gatherings and spending time with friends and family. He truly had a love for children, even playing the role of Santa Clause. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting and fishing.
