Daniel Ray Mizer, son of Carl Swanigan and Brenda (Mizer) Osborn, was born August 4, 1978 in Osage Beach, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of forty-five years, seven months and twenty-eight days.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Swanigan; maternal grandfather, Jack Mizer; aunt, Shirley Mitchell; uncle, Donald Mizer and his wife Marilyn; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
He is survived by his four children; his mother, Brenda Osborn and husband Ken, of Lebanon, Missouri; brother, Christopher Swanigan and fiancé, Bailey Webster of Camdenton, Missouri; sister, Rebecca Swanigan of Camdenton, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Carol Mizer, of Lebanon; his niece, who was very special to him, Hattie Swanigan; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Daniel grew up in the Camdenton area and was a graduate of Skyline High School. He worked most of his life in the construction and factory industries and was working at Detroit Tool at the time of his passing. He moved to Lebanon about three years ago.
In his younger years, he was a skilled bull rider and enjoyed all the success that came along with it. He was fond of Western movies and being in the great outdoors.
He was a good hearted man and never met a stranger. Daniel truly cherished the time spent with his family and friends and believed in living life to its fullest.
Daniel was a loving father, son, brother and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 6, 2024 in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon, Missouri. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service Saturday in the funeral home. A memorial has been established to assist the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024 in Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon, Missouri with burial following in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Missouri. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the funeral home..
Memorial donations my be made to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home and left at the funeral home or mailed to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 15 Clint Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri 65020.
