Darlene Trollope

DARLENE TROLLOPE Doris Darlene Trollope, daughter of Dale and Lucille Faye Powers Fox, was born, July 5, 1936 in Winfield, Kansas. She departed this life, Thursday, July 3, 2008 in her home, Roach, Missouri at the age of seventy-one years, eleven months and twenty-eight days. On February 19, 1956 in Winfield, Kansas, she was united in marriage to Billy Leroy Trollope and to this union two children were born. Together they shared the past fifty-two years. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Survivors include her loving husband, Billy L. Trollope of the home; two children, Cindy Trollope and Billy D. Trollope; a grandson, Colin Trollope all of Camdenton, Missouri and many cousins, other relative and many friends. Darlene was raised in Winfield, Kansas and graduated high school there. She met Billy while he was a student at Southwestern College in Winfield. After they were married they made their home in Winfield and later moved to Kansas City where she worked for the IRS. She and they family moved to Lake of the Ozarks in 1985. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Kansas City and also had an association with Woodmen of the World. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, however, most of all; she was a mom and grandma and enjoyed lavishing her attention on her family. Darlene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a caring neighbor and friend to many and always had a smile to share. We celebrate her life and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. A memorial visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Saturday would have been Darlene's seventy-second birthday and the family will have a private celebration following the visitation. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton.
