Darrell Moore

Darrell Everett Moore, son of Everett Lloyd and Vada Lucille Geary Moore, was born January 28, 1941 in Eldorado Springs, Missouri. He departed this life Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Eldon Nursing and Rehab, Eldon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-five years, six months, and six days. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Robert Moore; two brothers, Buford and Bernard Moore; and a sister, Nina Brown. He is survived by his wife, Wanda, of Linn Creek, Missouri; his children, Bonnie Moore, of Linn Creek, Missouri, Everett Moore and significant other, Patricia Webster, of Camdenton, Missouri, Vickie Reehten and husband Eugene, of Brumley, Missouri, Sheila Owens and husband Brian, of Linn Creek, Missouri, Dwayne Moore and wife Natalie, of Camdenton, Missouri, and Steven Moore and wife Melissa, of Camdenton, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Violet Fitzpatrick, of Lake Ozark, Missouri; his dog, Cam; numerous nieces, nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. Darrell was born in Eldorado Springs, Missouri and spent time living in various locations throughout his life. He worked as an over the road truck driver for many years, and also served as a police officer and a volunteer firefighter during his career. He moved to Camdenton in 1988 to make his home. Darrell had made a profession of faith and had accepted Christ as his Savior. Darrell could be best described as a “Jack of all trades” and worked very hard to support his family. In his spare time, Darrell enjoyed riding his motorcycle, bowling, hunting, fishing, and working in his rose garden. He took great pride in his lawn and always made sure it looked the best it could. Darrell was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends. Funeral services for Darrell Moore will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
