DAVID WILLIAM COCHRAN David William Cochran, son of William Frank and Wanda Hammond Cochran, was born, February 3, 1954 in St. Louis County, Missouri. He departed this life, Friday, December 2, 2011 in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of fifty-seven years, nine months and twenty-nine days. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Frank and his grandparents. Survivors include his mother, Joyce Cochran-Williams of Eldon, Missouri; three brothers, Danny Cochran and his wife Debbie who he lovingly referred to as "Dad and Mom" of Osage Beach, Missouri, Donnie Cochran and wife Sherrie of Osage Beach, Missouri and Darryl Cochran and wife Kim of Blue Springs, Missouri; a sister, Iva Prater and husband Dave of Eldon, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews including Nick Cochran who he referred to as his "Brother"; many great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends. David was raised in Iberia, Missouri and had lived in Harrisonville, Missouri for a time and was currently residing in Eldon. He worked as an assembler for the CASSCO Sheltered Workshop for many years. David made a profession of faith and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Eldon. Church was a very important part of David's life and loved visiting with folks and praise and worship. David had many favorite things including, puzzles, the Kansas City Chiefs and St Louis Cardinals, television and McDonald's cheeseburgers. He spent many hours drawing on his Etch-A-Sketch. He loved people and was always flirting with ladies and giving out hugs. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. He touched many lives in his own special way and his memory will linger on in our hearts forever. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2011 in First Assembly of God Church, Eldon under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Union Cemetery, Brumley. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a fund established to assist the family and left at the funeral home or the church the day of the service. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
