Debra Briesacher

Debra Briesacher, daughter of Louis Marion Briesacher and Peggy Lou Mattox,was born July 21, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri. She departed this life on June 12, 2018 in Columbia, Missouri at the age of sixty-two years, ten months, and nine days. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Brady Briesacher and nephew, Jeremy Louis Briesacher. She is survived by her three sisters, Jill Briesacher of St. Louis, Missouri, Robyn Schmidt and husband Bill of St. Louis, Tracy Briesacher Campbell of Eureka, Missouri, nieces and nephews, Kelly (Christian) Benavides, Cora (Dustin) Doerr, Dennis (Holly) Briesacher, Christopher Briesacher, Jesse Briesacher, Darcee Schmidt, Nicole Campbell, Nate Campbell, along with several great-nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. After spending some time at the Lake of the Ozarks and traveling around the US, she landed in Anna Marie Island, FL where she was a resident for 12 years. She then returned to St. Louis to manage Broadview Tool & Mold with her brother Brady and assist in the care of her father suffering from cancer. Later she became the primary caregiver of her mother who was stricken with Alzheimer’s. In 2000 she took up permanent residence at Lake of the Ozarks where she called home. She spent the last 18 years managing Donna’s Ice House and supervising some over-aged adolescents. Debra was a loving and a caring sister, aunt, neighbor and friend. She loved people and people loved her. She will be remembered as “crazy Aunt Debbie” and her “clown car”. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Visitation will be from 12 – 4 PM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Hope House or the Dogwood Animal Shelter in Osage Beach. Donations can also be made to Mark Kelley for Woody’s Christmas for Kids.
