Dennis Milton Wojnar

Dennis Milton Wojnar, son of Milton Wojnar and Lillian (Fabrykowski) Wojnar was born, December 25, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. He departed this life, Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his home in Camdenton, Missouri at the age of seventy-seven years, six months and two days. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jerold Wojnar Survivors include his wife, Julia Wojnar of the home; a daughter, Cheryl Flolo and husband David of Elgin, Illinois; a son, Jeffrey Wojnar and wife Kristan of St. Charles, Illinois; five grandchildren, Leah, Jacob, Andrew, Abby, and Ethan; the mother of his children, Deborah Wojnar; as well as host of other family and many friends. Dennis was raised in Chicago and a graduate St. Patrick’s High School. After graduation Dennis attended two years of Junior College before joining the Chicago Police Department, where he gave thirty-one years of dedicated service to the city and its residents before retiring and moving to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1999. Dennis made a profession of faith to the Roman Catholic Church and was also a member of the Polish American Police Officer Association. In his spare time Dennis enjoyed fishing, and as a car enthusiast participating in road rallies. He loved cheering on his Chicago Cubs and his beloved Chicago Bears. Prior to retiring to the lake he loved vacationing there as frequently as possible. One thing he loved very dearly were dogs, especially his Kodi. He was a loving and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the many memories he created for his family and friends. There are no formal funeral services planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
