DON HASCH Donald Junior Hasch, son of Clarence John and Clara May Dotson Hasch, was born June 27, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska. He departed this life, Sunday, January 13, 2013 in Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-seven years, six months and seventeen days. On February 4, 1950 in Omaha, Nebraska, he was united in marriage to Evelyn Pauline Borgeson and to this union two children were born. Together they shared sixty-three years of marriage He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Cheryl Feeney and two grandchildren, Tyler and Jennifer Feeney. Survivors include his wife, Lynne Hasch of the home; a son, Doug Hasch of Camdenton, Missouri; a sister, Patricia Jacobsen and husband Richard of San Diego, California; a niece and a nephew and a host of many friends. Don was raised in Omaha, Nebraska and was a graduate of Benson High School in the class of 1943. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. After being honorably discharged, he returned to the Omaha and began working for the pipeline. This job moved the family to various places. In 1962, he and Lynne moved to the Lake of the Ozarks and were the owners and operators of Digger O'Dell's Resort. He was a life member of the Camdenton Lion's Club and worked tirelessly in the club for many years. Don made a profession of faith and was a member of the Camdenton United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was an airplane mechanic in the Marine Corp and from there developed a great interest in airplanes. In his younger years, he enjoyed roller skating. It was while he was skating, he first met his future wife, Lynne. He was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
